Poster Papers AbstractsJanuary 15, 2010 Poster papers received by February 25, 2010 will be included in online proceedings posted on the ASD Inc. site.
All invited speakers at Art, Science and Applications of Reflectance Spectroscopy are required to submit an abstract and proceedings paper for publication on the Symposium CD ROM. All poster paper presenters are required to submit an abstract and requested to submit a proceedings paper for inclusion in the online proceedings to be posted on the ASD Inc. website. All authors must upload an abstract Invited speaker abstract entries are due by October 15, 2009 Poster abstract entries are due by January 15, 2010 To submit your abstract click on the link below and follow Steps 1 through 4: Step 1: Title Enter Title of your abstract in the field provided. Click on the “Type” menu below and select the correct type of abstract submission (i.e. Invited or Poster). Step 2: Author Information Enter Corresponding Author information (note: this is the main author). For additional authors click on the “Add Author” button and enter their information in the fields provided. Step 3: Abstract Text Enter unformatted text, maximum 300 words, using the “cut/paste” option for all abstracts. Please do NOT use the Upload a File function for your abstract. Step 4: Confirm Entry Verify that all information submitted is correct. Click on the “Conclude Submission” button to confirm your entry and submit your abstract. Please do not include your title, author information, or the word “Abstract” as part of the abstract text as this will automatically generate from what you enter during Step 2. All authors are requested to submit a written paper Please follow the formatting guidelines and paper template below: Formatting Guidelines - All paper submissions should be done in Word 2003 format ONLY!
- All typing should be in the Times New Roman or Times 12 pt. font.
- The presentation title should be capitalized, left justified, and bold.
- The typing format for the speaker’s name is: speaker’s first name, middle initial, last name, in bold. Typing should be left justified.
- Your Affiliation should be listed, including the city and state and/or country. Typing should be left justified in Italic.
- Margins should be: top, left, and right .75”, and bottom 1”.
- The typing format for references should be with hanging indent and is: author’s last name, initials, year in (parenthesis). Title. Journal name in italics, followed by volume number in italics, and page number(s).
- Images, tables, figures should all be embedded in your document.
- Pages should be numbered beginning on first page, centered at the bottom.
- Endnote and footnote features, text boxes, arrows, and lines should not be used.
- Please proofread and spell-check your materials.

- Acceptable file format(s): HTML document (*.htm) or HTML document (*.html).
- The best way to upload your material is probably to copy it
from your word processor or web page and paste it into the upload form.
However, if your submission contains pictures you should first save it
in web page (HTML) format and then upload that HTML file. If you upload
in this way please do not include the title or the author listing, as
this information will be generated automatically from what you have
already entered.
